The End of an Era

The end of an era for GLOVE Project

Sadly after some 15yrs the Project has had to give up its office in Senegambia due to lack of funds. Last year Fiona Wild and her North West Unison Branch kindly funded the office. The rent is £3000.00 per year and totally beyond our reach.

Although having an office for people to drop into to discuss the project and to work from, funds are limited and Jackie can no longer afford to fund this personally and funds are desperately needed towards a project vehicle and for the ongoing care and Rehabilitation of the children.

The "Office" along with the store and the Rehabilitation centre are all now based at Jackie's house and she is happy to meet up with visitors there or in a nearby restaurant or hotel. Thankyou everyone for your support and to all those who have utilised the office over the past 15 yrs.
